About: For this project, I shot and edited 64 images of a local Chicago band and filmed 10 minutes of video for them, including crowdsurfing and artist solos. Prior to the event, I coordinated with venue staff, opening acts, and fellow photographers to locate the best lighting and angles within the concert hall. My selection focuses primarily on the performer-crowd dynamic to highlight the raw energy of the audience that night– about 100 fans came out to see the band's first sold-out show. I later edited the images using Adobe Lightroom to bring out flashy colors and reflect the vibrancy of the performance.
